Concept piece for a scene to be modelled out in Maya for an animation class. I had in mind some reclusive and intimidating bat character who, despite outer appearances, is a fruit bat and harmless. Still spooks nosey mice, though.

Ink, marker, and gel pen. Striped hyena character of a yet-determined gender. I was wanted an excuse to put a mask in; I'd like to revisit this more lavishly in the future. I really love old prints using etching, and I want to try to recapture a bit of that feel.

Graphite piece worked on while en-route to AC on a bus. Unnamed vampiric deer thing again, moping about some statues. It seems to be what vampires do.. which is probably why I absolutely hate the concept of them. Art and character is © S. King
